In Depth Yoga Study: The function of breath in the yoga practice

The Function of Breath in the Yoga Practice I

We all breathe, what’s the big deal?

Frankly if you have not developed your yoga practice as a breath-centric method of developing the present moment, then you have yet to practice yoga.

That said, this is different than cardiovascular training which is vital as well.

The breath matures on a physical, physiological, and psychological level when we open to the understanding and artistry of breath-centric yoga and mediation practice.

Breath is a presence that links body function with spirit.  Neither can function in balance without the breath.
